Cric Captain

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Cric Captain mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including team captains ("Admin") and team members ("Players").

2. Description of Service

Cric Captain is a cricket team management application that allows users to:

• Create and manage cricket teams and squads
• Schedule and manage matches
• Plan playing XI and bowling rotations
• Manage player availability for matches
• Set up field placements and pre-match plans
• Invite players to join their team

3. User Accounts

To use the App you must create an account with a valid email address and password.

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You must not share your account with others
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. User Roles

The App has two user roles:

• Admin / Captain — creates teams, manages squads, schedules matches, selects playing XI, and manages team settings
• Player — joins a team via invite code, marks availability, and views match information

Admin users are responsible for the accuracy of team and match data they enter, and for ensuring players they invite have consented to join.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Enter false, misleading, or offensive player or team information
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Interfere with the App's servers or infrastructure

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the App (team names, player names, match data, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service.

We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than operating the App.

7. Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the App may send push notifications about new matches scheduled by your captain. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, logo, code, and content created by us, is owned by Cric Captain and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cric Captain shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of profits.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

12. Changes to the App

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We will try to notify users of significant changes via the App or email.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
