Cric Captain is a cricket team management application designed for cricket captains and players to manage squads, schedule matches, plan bowling rotations, and coordinate availability.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — email address and password when you register
• Profile information — your display name and role (captain or player)
• Team data — team name, squad player names, and player roles
• Match data — match details, playing XI, bowling plans, opponent notes, and availability responses
• Privacy policy agreement — timestamp of when you accepted this policy

• Device push token — to deliver match notifications (only if you grant permission)
• Crash and performance data — via Firebase, to improve app stability

• Payment information
• Advertising identifiers

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data is stored per user account and is only accessible by you and members of your team via invite code.

5. Push Notifications

If you grant notification permission, your device's push token is saved to your account. We use this to notify you of new matches scheduled by your captain. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings — revoking permission stops future notifications.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data. We only use the following processors:

• Google Firebase — data storage and authentication
• Expo — push token routing to Apple APNs / Google FCM
• Legal obligations — if required by applicable law

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Cric Captain is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Correction — update incorrect information via the app
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

10. Security
